The 2026 IC System Charity Golf Tournament Brings Teams Together for a Great Cause

On Friday, July 24, 2026, golfers, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters came together at Tanners Brook Golf Course in Forest Lake, Minnesota, for the annual IC System Charity Golf Tournament.

With friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and an important mission behind the event, the tournament offered another memorable day of golf and community support.

Making an Impact Together

Although the final fundraising total is still being calculated, the tournament has already raised $26,249 for four charitable organizations:

• A Soldier’s Child Foundation
• HOPE 4 Youth
• The Down Syndrome Association
• St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Every team registration, sponsorship, prize donation, and additional contribution helped build that total. While the final number is still to come, the tournament has already generated meaningful support for organizations serving children, families, and young people in need.

Bringing the Tournament to Life

An event like this requires plenty of planning and coordination behind the scenes. This year’s golf committee included David Gunderson and Mike Selbitschka, who worked to bring the many pieces of the tournament together.

They were supported by 10 volunteers who helped throughout the day. From welcoming golfers and coordinating activities to keeping the event moving smoothly, the volunteers played an important role in creating an enjoyable experience for everyone on the course.

A Day of Golf and Connection

A total of 21 teams participated in this year’s tournament.

Throughout the day, golfers had the opportunity to compete, reconnect with coworkers and business partners, meet new people, and enjoy time together outside the office. Some teams arrived with their eyes on the leaderboard, while others were there primarily to enjoy the experience and support a good cause.

Regardless of the final score, every team helped make the tournament a success.

Their generosity helped make the event possible and added even more excitement to the day. The Birdie Brigade Wins Again

Congratulations to The Birdie Brigade, this year’s winning IC System team:

The Birdie Brigade also won last year’s tournament, making this their second consecutive victory. After returning to the course as defending champions, the team once again found its way to the top of the leaderboard.

The winning blended team was Grip It and Sip It, featuring:

• Jed Chavel
• Dylan Godbout

Their performance earned them the top spot among this year’s blended teams and added another memorable team name to the tournament’s history.

The IC System Charity Golf Tournament has always been about more than the final score.

It is an opportunity for employees, sponsors, business partners, volunteers, and friends to spend time together while supporting organizations doing important work. The conversations, teamwork, friendly competition, and generosity shown throughout the day are what give the tournament its lasting impact.
