Kristina Gursky Expands Leadership Role to Strengthen Healthcare Client Experience at IC System

IC System is proud to announce that Kristina Gursky has assumed expanded responsibility for servicing healthcare clients. In addition to her current role as Vice President of Healthcare Strategy & Continuous Improvement, Gursky will now oversee Account Management and Client Service operations for the organization’s healthcare portfolio.

“I’m beyond excited to get back to helping optimize and manage client relationships here at IC System,” said Gursky. “We have a legacy of strong performance for healthcare clients—large and small—and being entrusted with fostering and growing those relationships is something I take to heart.”

In her expanded role, Gursky will bring her deep industry expertise and strategic leadership to further strengthen client partnerships and enhance service delivery.

Kristina brings a rare and powerful combination of deep expertise, hands-on experience, and genuine passion to her role. With over 25 years in the healthcare industry, she has established herself as a true expert in the field. For the past 15 years at IC System, she has played a key role in helping to design and shape our operating platform—giving her an intimate, insider-level understanding of how it works.

Kristina excels at bridging the gap between our clients and our technology. She listens closely to their needs, speaks their language, and skillfully translates those requirements into practical, effective solutions within our system.

Beyond her technical strengths, she is exceptionally skilled with people. Helping our clients succeed brings her real fulfillment and energy. That’s our KG— knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly client-focused. 

Gursky’s commitment to leadership and service extends into her long-standing involvement with AAHAM’s Minnesota Gopher Chapter, where she has served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President.

Her achievements have been widely recognized. She is a four-time recipient of IC System’s President’s Club Award, a two-time recipient of the AAHAM Hawkeye Chapter President’s Award, and the recipient of the 2025 AAHAM President’s Award. She holds multiple professional certifications, including AAHAM Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP), ARCP Certified Executive Revenue Cycle Professional (CERC), and HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCR), and earned her degree in Healthcare Administration.

“A strong partnership between healthcare providers and collection agencies plays a critical role in the patient experience—ensuring financial conversations are handled with empathy, transparency, and respect long after care is delivered. IC System remains well positioned to protect the relationship between provider and patient, while helping patients find resolution to their outstanding balances and recovering revenue for providers. I’m proud to lead our teams in creating exceptional experiences for providers and patients alike,” said Gursky.

Outside of work, Kristina enjoys life in Minnesota with her partner, children, and grandchildren. She is also an avid fan of live music and concerts—an energy she brings into her leadership every day.
