2025: A Year of Heart, Excellence & Community at IC System

It all started with the smell of chili.

Back in January, six employees brought their best recipes to a friendly Cook-Off, filling the office with warmth, laughter, and just the right amount of competition. By the end of the day, coworkers had crowned a winner, raised $350 for Feed My Starving Children, and set the tone for what would become an incredible year.

Because 2025 wasn’t just about events—it was about showing up.

Throughout the year, IC System employees jumped (literally) into icy waters for the Polar Plunge, supported the Hot Chocolate Run, cleaned up neighborhoods, stocked classrooms with school supplies, and brought energy to everything from Coverall Bingo to our Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Whether it was volunteering time or raising funds, the common thread was simple: people coming together to make a difference.

And the impact added up in a big way.

Across the year, employees contributed 502.75 volunteer hours, raised $71,388, donated 250 pounds of food, and supported more than a dozen nonprofits.

But 2025 wasn’t just about giving back—it was also about celebrating what makes IC System special.

We were honored once again as a Best Place to Work in Collections, and for the ninth consecutive year, named a Star Tribune Top Workplace.

Internally, we celebrated major milestones, too. From the “Decades in Bloom” 10-Year Club event honoring 111 long-tenured employees, to our President’s Club Oktoberfest recognizing the top 5% of performers, the year was full of moments that recognized dedication, excellence, and teamwork.

We also celebrated individual achievement, including Kristina Gursky receiving the prestigious AAHAM National President’s Award—an incredible honor highlighting leadership and impact in the healthcare industry.

When you step back, 2025 tells a bigger story.

It’s a story about culture in action. About teams that support each other. About a workplace that values both performance and people. And about the kind of community impact that happens when those things come together.
