I.C. System to Open a Branch Office in La Crosse, Wisconsin
St. Paul, Minn. (June 1, 2007) – I.C. System announced it
will open a branch office this July in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Initial hiring calls for nearly 20 employees with plans for more
than 70 by year-end. The office will have approximately 250
employees when fully staffed.
“We’re extremely excited about opening our new office in La
Crosse and becoming a long-term member of the community,” said
Barbara Erickson, I.C. System’s Chairman of the Board. “We’re
very confident the La Crosse office will quickly and
significantly contribute to I.C. System’s overall success and
continue to do so for many years to come. The last three
collection branches we’ve opened - Mason City, Iowa; Fargo,
North Dakota; and Tampa, Florida - have a combined 30+ years of
ongoing expansion in their respective communities.”
I.C. System has experienced increased demand for its
industry-leading services from 30,000 existing clients.
Additionally, new clients (small businesses to Fortune 500
companies) are added daily. Both factors dictated the need for
another office. I.C. System conducted a national search for a
location and La Crosse was clearly the top choice, according to
Erickson.
“La Crosse offers a very educated and experienced labor force,
it met our demographic and population requirements, and is a
very attractive community,” Erickson added.
I.C. System’s office will be located at 606 George Street and
occupy 13,000 square feet of the building. Future plans include
relocating to a larger site in La Crosse within a couple years.
The company is currently filling management-track, collector
positions which support some of the nation’s largest credit
grantors. Job responsibilities include making telephone contacts
to resolve past-due accounts by making payment arrangements.
Collectors communicate with debtors located throughout the
country.
I.C. System plans a grand-opening celebration of the La Crosse
office in July, which will include a ribbon cutting ceremony and
other festivities.
